Kos:mo is a young producer, audio engineer and DJ from Cologne, Germany, shooting to prominence with his mix of progressive but hard, gritty tunes. Tunes which are redefining the techno genre and reach from slow and groovy to fast and rough while catching the attention of its discerning faithful. Kos:mo’s evolution has been fine-tuned for many year, from when he first learned the piano, after picking up a guitar and incorporating his love of diverse genres to his playing styles. However it was within his love of electronic music that he would find his groove.

 

In 2019 Kos:mo made his first appearance with „Weltflucht EP“ released on Black Snake Recordings and promptly got up to a #6 position in Beatport’s Techno Album Charts, marking a successful start of his producer career.

Following up, in 2020 und 2021 Kos:mo continued to share his unique style of techno - blending rough and grooving beats with emotionally rich melodies - on The Yellowhead’s Reload Records („The Verge EP“), Balthazar & JackRock’s Renesanz Records („The Ritual EP“) and Space 92’s Perfekt Groove Recordings („Fuse Box“ Remix).

2022 marks a special moment in his career, as his long-time idols and techno-heavy-weights Spektre have picked up on his music. After a long break due to Covid 19 restrictions, clubs finally re-opened and right in time Kos:mo shared first „Move Your Body“ as part of their Prospekt Series and later that year „The Reason EP“ through Spektre’s Respekt Recordings. „The Reason“, which later became Top 5 Best Selling Track on Respekt Recordings this year, reached #13 in Beatport’s Techno Charts and was globally supported by the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, Bart Skils, Joyhauser, Nicole Moudaber, Spartaque, Roberto Capuano and many more.

 

With his distinctive DJ sets Kos:mo regularly plays all around Germany in clubs like Colognes „Artheater“ and „Odonien“, Berlins „Void“, Nürnbergs „Die Rakete“, Frankfurts „Freud Club“, Würzburgs „Airport“, Münsters „Fusion“, Offenbachs „MTW“ and many more, as well as Festivals like Nibirii Festival in Düren, 2022, where he has also been supporting acts like Lilly Palmer, Alignment, Space 92 and more.

His sets will send the people on a journey from ecstatic dancing, deepest emotions and a divine connection to themselves and other dancers around them up to the rawest grooves, always including a huge amount of own productions setting them apart from every other. He sees himself as actively being a part of the crowd and therefor understands to connect to each individual person there. When Kos:mo is DJing he has only one thing in mind: To share love & good feelings through his music!
